How Paymaster Technologies collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal data in connection with this website.

This Privacy and Personal Data Notice (the “Notice”) explains how PAYMASTER TECHNOLOGIES ELEKTRONIK PAZARLAMA DIS TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI (“Paymaster Technologies”, the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal data in connection with the website https://paymastech.com/ (the “Website”).

The Company acts as the data controller for the processing described in this Notice.

This Notice is intended to fulfil the Company’s information obligations under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), including Article 10, and, where applicable, other data protection laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

This Notice applies to personal data processed when you:

  • submit an enquiry through the Website contact form;
  • contact us by email or through the contact details published on the Website;
  • communicate with us in relation to our products, services, integrations, support or possible business cooperation.

This Notice does not govern third-party websites, applications or services linked from the Website. Those third parties process personal data under their own privacy notices.

3.1. Technical and usage data

When you access the Website, our systems may automatically process limited technical data required to deliver and protect the Website, including:

  • IP address;
  • date and time of access;
  • requested page or file;
  • referring page, where transmitted by your browser;
  • browser type and version;
  • device and operating-system information;
  • language settings;
  • server response and error information;
  • information reasonably required to identify and prevent malicious, fraudulent or disruptive activity.

We do not use this data to create advertising profiles or to track visitors across unrelated websites.

3.2. Contact and enquiry data

When you use the contact form or contact us directly, we process the information you choose to provide. Depending on the form fields and the content of your enquiry, this may include:

  • name and surname;
  • business email address;
  • telephone number, if provided;
  • company or organisation;
  • job title, if provided;
  • country;
  • subject and content of the message;
  • information concerning a requested product, service, integration or project;
  • subsequent correspondence and related business records.

Please do not submit sensitive personal data or information that is not necessary for your enquiry.

Where processing is based on legitimate interests, we consider the necessity of the processing and balance our interests against the rights and reasonable expectations of the individual.

We do not rely on consent where another lawful ground properly applies. Where consent is legally required for a specific processing activity, it will be requested separately and may be withdrawn without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

5.How personal data is collected

We collect personal data:

  • automatically, through standard requests made by your browser to our Website and server;
  • directly from you, when you complete the contact form or communicate with us;
  • from the organisation you represent, where it provides your business contact details in connection with a legitimate business enquiry or relationship;
  • where permitted by law, from publicly available professional or company sources for the purpose of responding to or managing a business relationship.

6.Cookies, analytics and local fonts

The Website does not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking or third-party analytics.

Website fonts are hosted locally. Loading a page therefore does not require the visitor’s browser to contact Google Fonts or another external font provider.

The Website may use strictly necessary technical storage or similar technologies only where required for security, operation of the contact form, language selection or other functionality expressly requested by the visitor. Such technologies are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

If we introduce analytics, advertising technologies or non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this Notice and, where legally required, request consent before placing or accessing them.

7.Recipients of personal data

Personal data may be disclosed, only where necessary for the purposes described above, to:

  • authorised Company personnel who need access for their duties;
  • website hosting, infrastructure, cybersecurity, maintenance and technical-support providers;
  • business email and communications providers used to receive and answer enquiries;
  • professional advisers, including lawyers, accountants and auditors, where necessary;
  • competent courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies and other public authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law;
  • a purchaser, successor or relevant adviser in connection with a merger, restructuring, acquisition or transfer of all or part of the Company’s business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

Service providers may process personal data only for authorised purposes and under applicable contractual, confidentiality and security obligations.

We do not sell personal data.

8.International transfers

Some infrastructure, hosting, communications or professional service providers may process personal data outside Türkiye or permit access from another country.

Where personal data is transferred outside Türkiye, we apply a lawful transfer mechanism and the safeguards required by Article 9 KVKK. Where the GDPR applies, we use an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism as required by Chapter V GDPR.

9.Retention periods

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for any additional period required to comply with legal obligations or protect legal rights.

Technical server and security logs
up to 90 days, unless a longer period is necessary to investigate a security incident, prevent abuse, comply with a lawful request or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
Contact-form submissions and ordinary business enquiries
up to 24 months after the last substantive communication, unless the enquiry develops into a contractual or continuing business relationship.
Records connected with a contract, legal duty, dispute or official request
for the applicable statutory limitation or retention period and, where appropriate, until the final resolution of the matter.

When retention is no longer necessary, personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with applicable law and Company procedures.

10.Data security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss, misuse or destruction.

These measures may include access controls, secure transmission, system monitoring, logging, backups, supplier controls, confidentiality obligations and periodic review of security practices. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we review and improve safeguards in light of the nature of the data and relevant risks.

11.1. Rights under KVKK

Under Article 11 KVKK, subject to the conditions and limitations provided by law, you may request information as to whether your personal data is processed and, if so:

  • obtain information about the processing;
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose;
  • learn the third parties to whom personal data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad;
  • request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data;
  • request deletion or destruction where the relevant legal conditions are met;
  • request notification of correction, deletion or destruction to third parties to whom the data has been transferred;
  • object to a result arising against you through analysis exclusively by automated systems;
  • claim compensation where you suffer damage because personal data has been processed unlawfully.

11.2. Additional rights where the GDPR applies

Where the GDPR applies to the relevant processing, you may also have the right to:

  • access your personal data;
  • rectify inaccurate data;
  • request erasure or restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive data you provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format where the legal conditions for data portability are met;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Requests will be handled within the periods and according to the procedures required by applicable law. Applications under KVKK should comply with the applicable rules governing applications to a data controller.

The Website is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal data from children through the Website.
